Psst… Have you heard about STERIS Apprenticeships?
STERIS Instrument Management Services have recently been awarded government approval to deliver apprenticeships to our business!
What is an Apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is effectively a job with training! Being an apprentice means that you have a job that includes gaining recognised qualifications and essential skills whilst you are working and earning a wage.
STERIS has worked with the awarding body Pearson to gain approval to deliver Apprenticeships to our employees in the following subjects:
- Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Science
- Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service
- Level 3 Diploma in Customer service
- Level 2 Diploma in Team leading
- Level 3 Diploma in Management
An apprenticeship is a great way for you to learn new skills, knowledge and engagement within a professional environment and whilst you put this all into practice you get the support from a local college in terms of coursework that runs alongside your new role.
An apprenticeship typically takes between 12-24 months to complete depending on the level and type of apprenticeship. Throughout this time, you will be thoroughly supported by a dedicated trainer assessor who will come and visit you once a month in your place of work.
The structured apprenticeship programmes include a range of units tailored to meet the needs of STERIS, our staff and the Customers, by ensuring that all staff are equipped with the tools to be effective in their roles and take advantage of their career potential.
STERIS have a dedicated training delivery team who are qualified, committed and here to support your learning journey every step of the way! with nationwide coverage, our trainer assessors are qualified and experienced to deliver our approved qualifications and are looking forward to supporting you on your learning journey.
